Development of customized client/server tools or implementation of commercial
software to
automatically and periodically:
- import any relevant data from the disconnected datasets and transform
them based on the central OLTP data repository specifications.
- Perform all the pre-defined data update business rules and database
validation algorithms (technical validations).
- Load the harmonized data into the central OLTP data repository.
- Report (via mail for instance) on the eventual errors/warnings.
As an integrated element of the OLTP, the ETL tool will include each user rights privileges
on the database (read and/or write).
