To be applied for disconnected datasets and essentially for the acquisition of historical data, this 3BI solution includes a set of processes and tools to format, clean and harmonize data prior to integration and loading into the central OLTP data repository.
Mass-data loading

Following the analysis, profiling and quality optimization phases, this solution
includes customized tools and processes to load in 'mass' all validated
historical data into the central OLTP data repository.
The mass-data loading tool integrates the same functionalities than the regular
ETL tool, especially in terms of technical validation of the data, but enables
the load of large quantities of data through nightly batch processes.
Therefore, the mass-data loading tool can be re-used after the integration of all
historical data to load large volume of data at any time during the normal periodical
database update.
