With the solution hereafter described you can compare and rank your and/or competitor's
products, and monitor the evolution overtime.
This solution is based on a 3BI exclusive technique able to compare different distributions
of variables. It is more than a
comparison of means, it is a comparison of distributions.
The output of the model is a
universal normalized score that allows the
ranking of sets of variables.
The model is used to test differences in the physical attributes
that define a product. Products
are then compared and ranked using the universal normalized score computed by the model. The
universality characteristic of
the score allows having a uniform and equal comparison of products over time and over
different tests.
The physical attributes of the products can be measured via consumer surveys, or using
real instruments. Existing products
as well as new products can be tested. Moreover this solution allows testing and ranking
other elements of the marketing mix,
as the Promotion, as far as the tested elements can be decomposed in physical measurable
attributes.
This solution can be stand alone or run continuously. In the latter case it
can be combined with:
- 3BI monitoring solutions which are described in the consumer, product, customer,
competitor and market/industry intelligence offer.
- 3BI trend quest engine which identifies and extrapolates trends for forecasting
and automatically signaling changes in trends.
